 DeAGOSTINI BATTLE GAMER CANCELLED?

Our Euro affiliate site, BeJedi.com have posted and interview with Iain Lowson in their Exclusive Area. Along with their TV Ad and F.A.C.T.S 2004 Coverage, the interview is a very interesting read. Lowson, having worked on the Star Wars Fact File, has said in the interview that the De Agostini Star Wars Battle Game Magazine has been cancelled.

This is such a shame, as the preview issues and bonus subscription prizes looked very nice indeed. Hopefully it will be revived in the future. Fingers crossed it is and that it will find its way downunder.

CLONE WARS ANIMATED DVD PACKS - EXCLUSIVE STORY

To coincide with the release of the Animated Clone Wars Series 1 DVD, Hasbro will be releasing a duo of Animated Figure DVD Packs. In the same style of the Original Trilogy packs, both of the Animated pack will feature 3 figures in an open window box.

The first pack features; Obi-wan, Anakin Skywalker, and ARC Trooper Captain, with the second including; Assajj Ventress, General Grievous and Durge. Each figure comes with a black base and assorted weapons. In Australia, these packs will be 'Instore' Exclusives to Target. So come March you can pick up your Clone Wars DVD and both 3 packs.

REALTIME WARFARE MK.III

LucasArts has revealed its third attempt at a real-time strategy (RTS) game, Star Wars: Empire at War. Set a few years before Episode IV, players rewrite history as well as experience the aftermath of Episode III Revenge of the Sith, the creation of the Rebel Alliance, and Darth Vader’s rise to power. Empire at War is due from release in Spring 2005.

Our favorite Australian Movie Magazine, EMPIRE (nice name too), has a great article this month to help those people creating their own Fan Films. Entitled "Writing Your Own Screenplay", it lists the top 10 screenwriting tips to help you fill those empty sheets of paper.
