To quash the  rumor mill, we are able to announce that Australia will only see one of the Worldwide Exclusives. The Holo Yoda will be available in TRU but not until closer to May, but the Target Lava Reflection Vader is NOT for Local Distribution. Sad but true.

Also, have you seen the next Anakin with Green Jedi Starfighter, featured on the Rebelscum.com website? At the moment it appears to be a Toys R Us exclusive item. But we don't win them all, as the Wal-Mart Early Bird Special Packs,  will NOT be released locally, so start talking to your USA friends.

Our news desk has been receiving various reports of ROTS toys turning up at random across the country. From reports this appears to be limited to 12 figures in both Collections 1 and 2, only 3 from the 12" range, assorted vehicles and some Force Battlers. If you do find anything then share the news in the Hasbro/Collectibles of our Forums Section.

Our advice (just between us)....you won't miss out on getting any of the toys if you wait for the April release date and you just may be able to pick up something special for your patience or save quite a few dollars.

ANIMATED CLONE WARS VOL.2

Get ready to burn some bandwidth, as StarWars.com hosts the next 5 episodes of the Clone Wars Animated Series. Each 12 minute episode will be aired in the USA starting today for the next 5 days (22nd-26th March), and will be downloadable to Hyperspace members (Large Version), Plus smaller versions 24-hours later for non-Members.

The Cartoon Network will be screening Episodes 1-10 this Sunday 27th March at 1pm AEST with Episodes 11-20 following shortly after, in their lead up to the 4th April screening of Volume 2 (Episodes 21-25) locally.

OBI-WAN STRIKES BACK

The latest Star Wars Insider (#81 May-Jun 05) should be arriving in Australian Subscribers mailboxes this week. For fans of the Hasbro line of action figures this is a must have issue. Inside the back cover is a fold out 3-page glossy color array of the all 56 Revenge of the Sith Movieline of Figures. (This would make a really nice collectors poster)

RED CARPET REMINDER

Hayden Christensen will at Fox Studios today, Monday March 21, to promote Episode III. He will be making an appearance on the red carpet at Fox Studios before screening the first look footage and trailer for Nova 96.9 fans and VIPs. A Double Pass ticket will be given away at 6 pm, to one lucky person at attending the red carpet tonight.

Also look  for Hayden on ROVE LIVE Tues 9.30pm AEST on the TEN Network, plus on the TODAY SHOW show Tues 6am AEST on the Nine Network.

CLONE WAR VOL.1 DVD PREORDER

The Clone Wars Animated Mini-Series #3 will begin next week in the USA and also for download from Hyperspace. So if you want a recap of Series 1 and 2 you can order a Region1 copy of Clone Wars Vol.1 from Amazon (now shipping for AU$28 delivered) or wait until 13 April to buy the Region 4 version online from EzyDVD.

Also available in Region4 from 6th April will be the Star Wars Ewoks Adventure double feature and both the Animated Adventures Ewok & Droids DVDs. All three will retail for around $25. Preorder at EzyDVD today.

LABYRINTH OF EVIL REVIEW

"The must-read prequel to Star Wars: Episode III". So claims the marketing tag-line that adorns James Luceno's 'Labyrinth of Evil'. Normally such boasts represent clichéd hyperbole, but in this instance, SWNZ agrees with the assertion. Not only is this book an excellent read, but it leads directly into Episode 3, detailing events and character back stories in a manner that will undoubtedly heighten the action-packed opening of 'Revenge'. MIDNITE MADNESS....

We have received notification that Toys R US Australia will be opening a very limited number of stores for Episode III Midnight Madness across the country. Only seven stores will open their doors at 12.01am on Saturday 2 April 2005. Three for NSW plus one each in ACT, Queensland, South Australia, & Victoria. An Exclusive Poster will be available on the night.

Here is the list of stores which have so far been confirmed as opening at 12.01am Saturday 2nd April. We will list more when confirmation comes to hand. NSW - Moore Park,/Kotara/Parramatta, QLD - Mt Gravatt, VIC - Chadstone, ACT - Belconnen, SA - Rundle Mall.

RED CARPET TREATMENT

Hayden Christensen is coming down under for a first look screening of footage from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Christensen will be in Sydney on Monday March 21 to promote the highly anticipated final installment to the Star Wars saga. He will be making an appearance on the red carpet at Fox Studios before screening the first look footage.

There is a chance for fans to win a ticket to see the screening: Twentieth Century Fox will be giving away a Double Pass on the red carpet to one lucky winner. The Double Pass ticket will be given away at 6 pm, so get yourselves down there early for a good spot for your chance to win!

STAR WARS NUTTERS.....

"Star Wars Nutters Brace Yourself" is the opening line of The Daily Telegraphs Sydney Confidential report that Darth Vader himself, Hayden Christensen will be in Australia for the promotion of Episode 3. Hayden will make a red carpet appearance at Fox Studios on March 21 with a showing of a "teaser-taster" screening of selected movie footage.

Star Wars fans in Melbourne should get into Day of the Sith, a one day Mini-Con this weekend. This event is a fundraiser for Star Walking Inc's FORCE IV Australian Convention which is to be held the weekend after the Episode III release. FIRST SHOWING OF EPISODE III FIGURES FOR AUSTRALIA

Did you miss attending the March Sydney Skywalking meeting? Maybe you are out of stated or even the country? What ever the excuse, click on the above pictures to see the sample of just some of the Collection #1, Collection #2, Deluxe and 12" Revenge of the Sith Figures that were on show and will be available for sale from Case Fresh come the 2 April Street Date.

What Street date you ask??? Well for those illiterate staff at some Target stores, it is the one printed on the side of  every Episode III product box. Last week end some 12" figures and role play guns made it to a handful of shelves in various stores. Hasbro has since asked Target to recalled all product from the shelves until the "Official Release" date.

FORCE IV FAN FILMS

Here is a preview of two of the great fan made films that will light up the screen at this years Force IV Convention. The first by a group of Melbourne filmmakers is titled, Wrath of the Mandalorian. Set after Episode 3, this film tells the background of the relationship between Vader and Boba Fett and how Fett helped to hunt down the remaining Jedi.

The second is from the director of the hit comedy, George Lucas: Legend of the Force. Prime of the Jedi tells of a new secret Empire discovering the legendary Sith Inferno, an ancient weapon capable of destroying the Universe. The fate of the Galaxy will once again be in the hands of the Children of the Force. Special guest appearance by Boba Fett.

LATE UNLEASHED RELEASED

Finally available here in Australia via Case Fresh is Wave 12 of the Star Wars Unleashed Line. This is the last wave before the merchandising of Episode III is set to take over. Consists of the arrogant sentient assassin droid, IG-88; the deadly Jedi slayer, Aurra Sing; and the long awaited (and much requested) soldier of the Empire, Stormtrooper.

Case Fresh are continuing to clear items out at Great Sale Prices as they require the additional room to store their Episode III Stock which has already begun to arrive for shipping on the 2 April Street Date. So, get shopping : )

BUSTUPS SERIES 2 RELEASED

STAR WARS FILM FESTIVAL ON NINE

The media circus is about the start as the Nine Network begins working the general public into a Star Wars Frenzy, kicking off this Saturday Night with Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace. Nine will screen all the released episodes on Saturday nights in the lead up to Episode III. Check your local TV guides for more info.

Also, check with StarWars.com for info on the full trailer to be released in cinemas and on TV from next week. Hyperspace members will no doubt be getting a nice hi-res version to watch over and over again :)
