YOU ARE SO TRANSPARENT...

Australia isn't called the lucky country for nothing, as those good folks at Hasbro Oz look after local Star Wars Collectors by making sure you don't miss out on any of this years choice items. For example the new Holographic Princess Leia which is available in the USA only at Comic Con, will be released in Australia @ Kmart, in ample numbers too! :)

Also being release later in the year is the Ultimate Lightsaber Kit. Will you become a true Jedi, or will you join the Sith? The choice is yours. LAUGH IT UP FUZZBALL

First they miss giving poor Chewbacca a medal for  helping to destroy the Death Star, next they use him as live bait for an Imperial Probe Droid, and then they having him getting trapped by Ewoks. If you thought Chewie couldn't look any sillier, then check out these images. The first a Chewie Wrestle Buddy and the second we think is Plush Chewie.

Pray that these critters never make it to Australian and breed.

HUNTER-SEEKER DROIDS RELEASED

ALERT!!! ALERT!!! the Hunter-Seeker Droids of the First Galactic Empire have been released and are tracking you down. If you have your Star Wars collection on display and featuring some of the more unique or unusual items, then the droids are on your tail. But that isn't a bad thing as you could actually win a LAVA REFLECTION DARTH VADER.

Simply, grab your digital camera (or scan in your normal photos) and enter our Australian Hunter-Seeker Competition. REVENGE OF THE SITH MICRO BATTLE SETS

Head over the the official Star Wars Hasbro Site to see the new Episode III Micro Battle Sets. Each Battle set is allows you to re-enact dramatic battles from Revenge of the Sith, featuring mini-ships, weapons, micro figures and hidden extras. And when you are done playing the battle sets converts to a cool vehicle to display on your shelf.

Choose from; Kashyyyk Assault for Wookiee beach front fun, which converts to a Turbo Tank. Sith Battle Attack to re-enact the opening light saber battles, which converts to Grievous' flagship Invisible Fist, or the Mustafar Playset which features oozing lava, sliding platforms and bridges to relive Obi-Wan's duel with Anakin. then pack it away into the Tantive IV.

Unfortunately, at this stage it appears that Australia will not be receiving stock of these Micro Battle Sets, so if you are chasing down these play sets you may have to ask Independent Online Retailers to import them from the USA.

CONTINUING SAGA OF DARK HORSE

Flynn Kybo and his band of Jedi team up with a ragtag group of civilians to kill General Grievous and end his reign of terror. Due to licensing restrictions Alienware is unable to sell to Australians thru their local or US stores, so unfortunately we miss out on these amazing systems, but check out the specs, case and extras you get with the  Aurora: Star Wars Edition Configs.

EINSTEIN FACTOR GOES TO A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY...

Tune into the ABC Network again this weekend for a special edition of the quiz show, The Einstein Factor. Compared by Peter Burner (who thinks Lucas mis-spelt SITH when describing the latest movie) is no fan of Star Wars. Darth Vader makes a special appearance, as does Tim Ferguson. PIRATE EPISODE III WARNING

A big warning shot across the bow of all movie pirates. US Feds shut down a popular Web site that allegedly distributed copyrighted movies, including versions of the latest "Star Wars." The US federal government doesn't mind if the Force is with you, but it does have a problem if you have a copy of the newest "Star Wars" movie.

Agents shut down a popular Web site that had been distributing copyrighted music and movies, including versions of "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith." USA Homeland Security agents served search warrants on 10 people suspected of being involved with the Elite Torrents site, and took over the group's main server. "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" was made available through the site before being shown released in theaters. The pirate copy was downloaded more than 10,000 times in just 2 days.
