Lucas has been named the 2007 Toy Industry Hall of Fame inductee for his
significant contribution to the growth and success of the toy industry. Lucas
will take place as part of the
seventh annual T.O.T.Y. (Toy Of The Year) Awards on February 10, 2007 in New
York City. This will make Lucas the 50th Hall of Fame inductee and it's long
time overdue. |

the title crawl to Star Wars before it was known as Episode IV; see the
pioneering, if dated, motion control model work on the attack on the Death Star;
groove to Lapti Nek or the Ewok Celebration song like you did when you were a
kid; and yes, see Han Solo shoot first. Finally, the Original Trilogy "as they were
released" are coming to DVD!!!
Mousedroid.com has confirmed with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, that
Australia will see the new two-disc sets of all three Original Trilogy
movies around September 20th, 2006. Each release
includes the 2004 digitally re-mastered version of the movie, as well as the
original theatrical edition of the film with Dolby 2.0 Surround sound,
close-captioning, and subtitles.
A box set is also rumored, as are a host of other tie-in product releases. Check
back for more info on the Australian Release product as it comes to hand. It
truly was a very Happy Star Wars Day :) |
