REVIEW & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT BY 'SEEROO'

Finally, with our land vehicles back neatly away in our data pad, all credit transferred into our bank account and locking in the hyperspace co-ordinates we jump off to our second planet in the Star Wars Universe...Naboo.

Straight away your will notice the attention to detail to the movies and the stark difference that Naboo presents for players. New landscape, plants, forests, jungles, oceans, rivers, lakes, huge waterfalls, plus  beautifully sculptured cities. As they say 'A change is as good as a holiday, but if you plan on Naboo being all beauty and no danger then think again. The creatures here are not for a novice. Just check out our 'holiday photos below and you will see some of the beasties we came up against.
 

Now on Naboo Seeroo hit level 24 pretty quickly (you can quite easily level once every 2-3 hours of play) and whilst running around completing Legacy Missions for Typho and Panaka I  ran into some very colorful Player characters that introduced me the joys of PvP (or Player vs Player) Combat. This is where you get the chance to pit your skills against that of another player character/s. Of course we didn't start and all our brawl in Naboo leaving bodies littering the streets, but instead my new Rebel and Imperial high level friends showed me the art of the Duel. Hard to describe but with lightsabers flashing, blasters fire flying and several quite impressive hidden talents revealed ,we were awestruck by the display.

This got me to thinking, up until now we had only being playing the game by running around killing computer opponents, completing missions for key computer controlled characters and picking fights with computer based gangs and criminals. What were we missing??? After a quick scout around and asking several Helpers about Factions, PvP and duels showed that I was only experiencing the tip of the Star Wars Galaxies universe. It was time to enter into a faction...time to pledge my allegiance to the Empire , to the Rebellion ot maybe even become an Independent. IT was time to join the player community and really live the Star Wars story..........

.... but those adventures are best experience.
