HEMBLE's FIGURE WORKSHOP #3

With such great feedback to the first Feature Custom here at Hemble's Figure Workshop the master craftsman has heard the cry and return with a new spin on the fans favorite bounty hunter and his clan....The Mandolorian Warriors.

Be sure to check out Hembles own website showcasing not only his Star Wars modeling exploits, but also Star Trek, Sci-Fi and Military pieces. You never know he just may have the figure for you...and if he does, I am sure he can create it.

Welcome back,

Well here is the start to the Mandolorian Warrior, now with any custom figure I do I always look for reference pics from all types of sources be it the internet, books or even comics or even your own imagination. Now this is a simple custom as you can see in PIC-1 and PIC-2 is the VOTC Boba Fett figure and all I've done is removed the legs and added the TAC Galactic Marine Troopers legs to him.

Now from here I've super glued all the joints together once I got the desired pose I wanted and then I started filling in the gaps with the good old plasta-scene and then added 3 layers of super glue over the plasta-scene and let dry. I then added plasta-scene to the front visor section of the helmet has I just want the eye section visible and again added 3 layers of super glue and let dry.

Now this is where I started adding bits and pieces to the figure to get the desired look I wanted for example the pouches in PIC-2 are some 1/35 scale pouches that I have had lying in my bits box for ages. PIC-1 the shoulder armour is from the Evil Dead figure series, the chain and O-rings on the left chest section are some old jewellery chains, the O-ring on the left side of the helmet is from some old jewellery and the site scope on the right side is from a 1/18 scale modern day sniper rifle.

Still in PIC-1 the rifle butt is from the VOTC Boba Fett rifle and the barrel section is from a Clone Trooper figure I just cut the back part of the Clone trooper's rifle then cut the butt off Fett's rifle and then super glued the two section together.

In PIC-2 the side arm and holster on the right leg is from the Marvel Legends Showdown Punisher figure the leg strap connecting the holster is a piece of leather. The backpack is from the VOTC Boba Fett figure I cut down the rocket section and added a smaller part which I got from the bits box, I then added a Darth maul dual blade to the right side of the pack and a part from a vibro blade to the left side.

In PIC-1 & 2 can see the vibro blade I have constructed for him which is a piece of plasti-rod cut to length and the ends of the SAGA Boushh blade cut off and added to the top and bottom then a photo-etched part from a 1/35 scale tank side skirt was super glued on and pieces of leather were added to the rod section as support straps and also hand grip and tubing from the Evolution Trooper set was added. The front and back cloth and the cloak are again pieces of old leather cut to size and glued in place.
