HEMBLE's FIGURE WORKSHOP #4

Well here is my Mandalorian Warrior, when doing the paint application I wanted a Military Style feel to the uniform so I went with darker colours but which would still stand out. Be sure to check out the Hemble Website showcasing not only Star Wars modeling exploits, but also Star Trek, Sci-Fi and Military pieces.

PIC-3 The overalls were painted using Reaper Miniature's Armour German Grey 08019, in PIC-4 It was the given a drybrush of Vallejo's Khaki 70988, PIC-5 The overalls was then given a wash of Matt Black and the excess wash was left on, PIC-6 Once the wash was dry I gave a drybrush of Reaper's Ash Grey 18020 and then given a 50/50 drybrush ASh Grey and Flatt White

PIC-20 The base was given a layer of plaster of paris and a rock from the garden found and pushed into the drying plaster, PIC-21 Fine sand was added to the base using PVA glue and left to dry, PIC-22 The sand was then painted with Valljo's Khaki and drybrushed with Vallejo's Biege Brown 70875, PIC-23 Model railway shrubs were glued to the base using superglue, PIC-24 And once dry they were given a light paint of Vallejo's USA Tan Earth 70784 and the edges were painted Matt Black.

I really had fun doing this figure, It was easy to do not a lot of customizing and not a lot of sculpting which is a nice break from the more complex figures I do and if you need any advise on anything you've seen here drop me a line at hemble@zip.com.au and I'll always be more then happy to help out were I can, And more pics can be seen in the home built discussion section in a few days time.
