We were all hyped up to see some of the new Star Wars Miniature
figures that had been previewed at the GAMA TradeFair, but alas it as not to be.
Instead Wizards of the Coast had very little on display in terms of new gaming
product.
Their biggest item on display was the new Duel Masters
Card game, which is expected to topple Yu-Gi-Oh as the top selling TCG for
2004-2005. Apart from the spattering of Dungeons and Dragons Manuals
and Miniature Booster Pack, no Star Wars product could be found.
But on a high
point, we were able to confirm the release of the SW Miniature Game in Australia
as September. Rumor has it that it will be carried and strongly supported
by a major retailer.
