AUSTRALIAN TOY FAIR 2007


With the Commonwealth Games over, ATA along with the the Toy & Hobby Distributors head back to sunny Melbourne for their annual outing, Yes, five days of product review, number crunching, deal making, and hand shaking. Open to trade only and not a child in sight to play (or break) with any of the goodies including some very expensive prototypes. Yes, once again it is time for Mousedroid to hit the the convention centre to cover this years Australian Toy, Hobby & Nursery Fair, better know as Australian Toy Fair 2007. Over the next three days we will give you a photo feast of the best the distributors have to offer the collecting public in 07 for not only Star Wars but collectibles, toys and hobby gear in general.

Day 1 - Hasbro

DAY 1 Report:
Our first day was spent on the Hasbro Australia Stand. A small selection of Star Wars, Star Wars Transformers and a heap of Spiderman Stuff. Unfortunately Wizards of the Coast was absent this year, but we did get a closed door look into the Transformers Movie line up. Check it out here.

Day 2- Funtastic

DAY 2 Report:
Funtastic by name, and Funtastic by nature. Our Day 2 at Toy Fair entails a trip thru the Funtastic/Dorcy Irwin stand. With Marvel now at Hasbro we were very surprised and please with some very  innovative products on show. From micro RC copters to several big movie lines, you can Check it out here.

Day 3- Lego & Croftminster

DAY 3 Report:
No make, Hulk mad...ARRGGHH!!!. Yes we were a bit miffed at our early departure to fly back to Sydney, but were able to capture our Day #3 to the Lego and Croftminster stands on the way out the door. And finally, Star Wars receives ATA recognition via Best Licensed Product of the Year with a new  Lego item. Check it out here.
