Dear Hasbro
The "Ewok Prisoner" scene is coming along nicely. In 2006 you gave us C-3PO with "Deity Throne". In 2007 you gave us R2 with the cargo net trap and "stretcher". Plus the constant Ewok packs to populate the village. All that seems to remain to be seen is Luke, Han and Chewbacca as Ewok Prisoners strapped to "tree branches" as they are carried into the village. What are the chances of us seeing all or one of these in the future?
Regards
Commander Collars
HASBRO RESPONSE:
Heh - those are very interesting and fun suggestions. We had not been thinking of this specifically, but that is a very interesting idea for consideration someday. Thanks for making us smile! |

Hasbro,
We've recently seen pics of the "Jedi Training Academy/Star Tours 5 Pack"and we are disappointed to learn, that this is a Disney exclusive. How will it be possible for international collectors, to obtain this set, without having to resort, to the multitudes of unscrupulous eBay scalpers, trying to make a small fortune, by selling this 5 Pack for twice the asking price (which isn't exactly low to start off with!!) I really wish you would rethink your strategy on "Exclusives" guys. It's getting harder and more expensive to track down these exclusives, which does not give us much incentive to want to "Collect Them All."
Cheers
Mike S
HASBRO RESPONSE:
The pack is tied directly to the Disney Parks Jedi Training Academy, and thus does not make sense selling outside of that setting. We did talk to the Disney Parks team and they confirmed that pending available quantities, it should be available by phone. You can call the Disney Parks merchandise mail order number at 407-363-6200 after the official release this Friday. |

Dear Hasbro,
The cantina figures from the first wave are very cool as was last years TAC wave 4 cantina guys. Can you tell us which cantina guys are planned for the second cantina wave in 2009 and how many we will get? Also as you have done a fantastic job at giving the collectors cantina guys for a long time, will we start to see updates on past figures as you seem to make even better ones each year, which in turn makes the figures from 10 years ago look not as good. It would be great to get the final figures over the coming years but we all know that they will run out of new characters, but updated ones would be fantastic. Thanks for the great work.
DC
HASBRO RESPONSE:
We would love to tell you which ones are coming in the Fall, but need to keep them under wraps until Comic Con. We're glad you like the Cantina aliens as much as we do. Aliens are so important to Star Wars that we feel we need to include a good sampling of them in the lineup every year, and both the Cantina and Jabba's Palace are great places to look for them.
We would like to get to some key updates - Wuher, Dr. Evazo and Ponda Boba would be three priorities - but do not have any of them slotted into the lineup yet as new ones have gotten the priority. Within a couple years it's a near lock that we'll have one or more of them slotted into the lineup. |
