Hi there Hasbro,

Firstly I've gotta say - the recent Toyfair has blown us all away with the new vintage themed basic figure line - not to mention the wonderful vehicles confirmed, & I for one am beyond ecstatic with your decision to do this! Well done & thank you!

Regarding the new Bespin Luke that has now been revealed on it's vintage cardback, will you be re-releasing this figure on the alternate cardback - the one with the close up of Luke leaning cautiously to the side & pointing his blaster, at some stage?? Such an iconic photo!!

THAT was the cardback I was really hoping you'd use for this new Luke, since you'd already used the existing photo for the 2007 Bespin Luke.

thanks,
VDG.

Dear Hasbro

With Hondo Ohnaka becoming somewhat of a recuring character in The Clone Wars, is their any plans or chances that we may see 1 or 2 of his fellow pirates?

thanks

Dear Hasbro,
First of all thanks for some great Clone wars figure recently, glad we are seeing more articulation (hint keep it up!) On the vehicle side for the clone wars though, we appear to be swimming here in Australia with the Anakin can cell clone wars vehicle sets and yet zero of the Commander Cody speeder and arf trooper and AT-RT sets. Can you confirm if and when we will receive them here?

1) The LEGO Star Wars line has recently started moving more into the Expanded Universe with craft such as the TIE Defender being released this year.

Are we likely to ever see releases of some of the more interesting Imperial Star Fighters from the EU such as the TIE Defender, or more specifically, the Cygnus Assault Gunboat and Missile Boat?
_______________________________________________________________

2) One of the more interesting lines to be produced by Kenner in the mid 1980s was the Star Wars Micro Collection. While Galoob produced the Action Fleet in the late 1990s, the 'feel' of the line wasn't quite the same.

Considering that Hasbro now owns both Kenner and Galoob, would Hasbro ever consider reissuing the Micro Collection playsets and vehicles, or releasing updated versions of them?

G'day Hasbro,

What are the chances of seeing Darth Vader in the Medical Capsule, from ROTS?

G'day Hasbro,

With vintage looming and looking to stick around for a couple of years (a big thank you), what are the chances of seeing R5-D4 updated to the "wind-down third leg" body and put on a vintage card? It would also be great to see R2 (with updated body but CLEAN) on his original Star Wars card! What are the chances?

Dear Hasbro

Recently the RC Hailfire Droid turned up at retail in Australia, and well I must say, what a fantastic "vehicle". Quite possibly the best "toy" I have bought in a while. I must admit that it picks up quite a bit of speed, but the Radio Controlled Firing Missiles are by far it's best feature! It is also really great that you have made it in the 3 3/4" scale so that it will work with your/our existing manual vehicles and Basic Figures. As you have probably noticed, when you move away fro your "core" products (3 3/4" Action Figures), interest eventually dwindles off (Titanium and Might Muggs are a couple of examples of this). My question is: Do you have plans or any interest in persuing the RC format in the 3 3/4" scale further? A Republic Tank would be good *wink*

thanks
Commander Collars

Dear Hasbro,

Over the last few years you have produced perhaps more EU figures than in any collection previous, thank you.

I am wondering with the upcoming release of 'The Old Republic' is there any chance that we may see a change in the direction of EU based figures and some of the characters in this game being produced mainstream akin to ‘The Force Unleashed’ lines you have released over the last few years?

Thanks

Darth Malak

Dear Hasbro,

Despite being super excited and enthusiastic about the new Vintage line of figures, I must say I am at a complete loss to understand your choice and quality of the picture on the front of the Luke Skywalker Bespin Outfit. Mark Hamill is no Miranda Kerr, but this picture is quite ordinary given what we have come to expect from the previous lines.

What is the process where by you select the image to use on card fronts and who is in charge of the quality control for the image once selected?

Dear Hasbro,

Firstly, must say that I am a fan of the current vintage figures that have been released. Looking forward to future additions of my collection! Congrats

Secondly, With the upcomming release of the Old Republic in both computer game and novelisation, do you envisage any potential to produce figures from this, like you have done previously with Shadows of The Empire and The Force Unleashed.

Thanks

Darth Malak

G'day Hasbro,

With the size of the bubble used in The Vintage Collection being too small to have all bar the most basic of weapons and accessories included with figures, is there any chance that the concept of environment specific accessory packs might be revisited? The accessory packs that were in both the Episode I and 2002 "Saga" lines many moons ago were a lot of fun, and in some cases, hard to come by.

A modern update of the vintage Survival Kit using tooling from existing figures might be a perfect example of something that would be appreciated by many given its own 30th anniversary next year.

G'day Hasbro,
I am liking the ROTS figure cardbacks for TVC line. Will we see an updated or new sculpted Aayla Secura(realistic & super-articulated) on the Vintage cardbacks? I foresee her being a great looking carded figure with some great still shots to choose from.
Regards

G'day Hasbro,

We've all seen the SDCC images of the upcoming Pre-Cyborg Grievous to General Grievous two pack, which is a great idea, seeing the 2007 TAC version was so scarce at retail. My question is; are there plans to release, a special two-pack, or even slot into the basic line, the equally as rare, Darth Malak and Darth Raven figures?

G'day Hasbro,

The reveal of the missing JEDI scene (Luke Constructs his Saber) at CV, sent Star Wars fans world-wide, into a state of elation. This historic reveal (and perhaps ones similar in nature) is in need of commemoration, in perhaps a "Battle Pack" or "Cinema Scene" type format. Would Hasbro consider placing the wonderful new Jedi Luke, Artoo, Threepio and Darth Vader (in Mediation Chamber) into a set?

G'day Hasbro,

What happened to the Vader on the funeral pyre you showed off at SDCC last year? How did the fan reaction go?

Dear Hasbro, love the worm infected Zombie Geonosian. It would be a top seller to have a zombie clone trooper to go along with this, forseeable, especially given it would be relatively simple to build?

Dear Hasbro,
This year being the 30th Anniversary of our favourite film, The Empire Strikes Back, has seen an overwhelming swag of merchandise focused on Hoth. We've had the new AT-AT, Battle Packs and new figures such as Dak Ralter. Conversely, Bespin, that old city in the clouds, has received no such attention. Is there any upcoming battle packs on the horizon such as a new Carbonite Freezing Chamber or Bespin Hallway set? We could see Chewie strangling Lando (never done before), a newly sculpted Lobot, and a handcuffed Imperial Officer for example.

Dear Hasbro,
Lets talk Commander Stone build. I heard your comments before about new moulds-I getcha, but still, pretty please with sugar on top, it's not good. I haven't seen a soul that has said they like the build.

We want articulated feet at least, otherwise he stands rigid and we are heading back to the old Clone Wars zero articulation figure path. Kids may not be in to articulation so much you say, but as a fan who spends a dirty, nay, filthy amount of dollah on your products, I do!

Please, your stopping me buying Draa and the new hailfire trooper set because of the build, it needs improved. Again pretty please with a cherry on top, just at least give it some tweaks at least to the feet, or stop using it asap

That said I love, love, love the new Grievous CW figure-it is seriously AMAZING! One of your best ever. And it stands this time ; )

cheers
flyguy

Hi Hasbro,

Speaking just for myself, i've moved from collection PT & OT items to OT & EU items. I've just tracked down youe legacy EU wave and wanted to pass on my thanks for getting Jacen & Jaina solo into plastic!

Can you share any thoughts on what you will be doing with the EU in 2012? Two packs? 4 packs? Comic characters? Or Video Game? Maybe Novels?

Thanks again!
