That's the word directly from Hasbro Australia; that we will not see the much anticipated RETURN OF THE JEDI wave of Action Figures here at Australian retail, simply due to 'Human Error'.
While this is certainly distressing news for the collecting community, the bright side is that we can still look forward to all the remaining waves, that follow in the magnificent "Vintage Collection"
MOUSEDROID.com's advice: Those collectors looking to fill gaps in their collections, are going to have to look 'elsewhere' to fulfil their collecting needs - but be quick - as the uber popular JEDI wave, is selling out fast everywhere!! - Best of luck! |

Explains the long time since the ROTS Wave was released. Most of these figures should be "carried forward" _________________

I hope so Commander for your sake...
Yes, you are probably right about that, but it is still quite heart-breaking. _________________ “The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural.” |

I know Luke gets carried forward anyway. _________________

I'm all for that - but this wave was so highly anticipated by everyone. Such a shame that this had to happen, so early in this collection. _________________ “The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural.” |

No offence CC but I don't collect CW figures. As you know there are many on this site whose focus is Vintage and the TVC. Hasbro have neglected the SW community down under once more. They must have known for a period of time that we weren't getting this wave yet it took Mike S to phone them and discover this bad news. If I'd had known when or shortly after Hasbro Australia realised this fact, I would now have my ROTJ set in hand as I would have already ordered it from O/S. Not happy Jan. |

None taken. I know that there are many different types of collectors on here and down here. I'm just saying that with Christmas coming up, Hasbro (and Retalers) - or should that be the other way around? - will focus on the "Kid" Aspect of the line. I found TWO full cases of TCW Wave 2 in K-Mart last night. I've seen both Wave 1 AND 3 in Woolies. Other retailers seem to have a lot of Wave 1. Even though FTA media does not support TCW, retailers see this line as "being" for kids and are more likely to stock them closer to Christmas than say The Vintage Collection which is a more target line (a smallish group of adults). _________________

| It wasn't a case of that, it was simply because someone had forgotten to order the wave. |

Wow, the shock! NOT. Yeah, support local, whatever.
I feel sorry for those that could have got them shipped over a while back but waited to see them arrive here.
I only want a copule of Gammy's and Ackbar so I'll start looking. _________________ "Sir, the possibility of successfully navigating an asteroid field is approximately three thousand, seven hundred and twenty to one!" |

Can't say I really believe the Human error part.
So - Hasbro Australia forgot to ask for a shipment of these figures and Hasbro USA or whoever didn't pick up on it and say something? "Hey why haven't we seen your order of ROTJ Vintage". Really? _________________ "Sir, the possibility of successfully navigating an asteroid field is approximately three thousand, seven hundred and twenty to one!" |

| Umm, help? Where's the cheapest price (incl shipping) to order these singlely or as a set. The site sponsor Casefresh doesn't stock Hasbro anymore, and the only one I know of is bigbadtoystore which is uber expensive, or the 'bay |

It doesn't really surprise me at all Brad. I have written to Hasbro Management four times since September and have yet to receive an official response to any of my emails so the fact that someone forgot to order something is not a stretch. (still mad) |

Hey reillyd, places exist but we can't talk about them.
I'd tend to go on ebay. I'm sure there are sellers of cases and I'm sure they're cheaper than retail even including shipping so it's win-win. _________________

I want to say Hasbro, you SUCK however I will settle with just being disappointed.
Hasbro Australia were nice enough to tee up that free Clone Wars figure last year.
I can't imagine they intentionally missed out on the wave.

| This is pretty poor form knowing as Hasbro's intelligence scouts would have how eagerly anticipated this wave was - this would have been a very fast selling through wave- their loss. |

Well how ironic then, the one I'm OPENING gets through..
I kinda suspected this would happen. Human error? I think it's more like they don't give a sh1t. I guess on the bright side, we've gotten all of the TVC vehicles that were locked in for 2010, plus those Hoth sets, so things are far from bad I guess. Still, this could only be the beginning..
Why did it have to be the ROTJ wave though, seriously. I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if the ROTS wave never showed. _________________

Hopefully I get it before xmas!
