Discover The Force In 3D at Big W In 2012, Hasbro celebrates the big-screen debut of the Star Wars movies in 3D beginning with Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

Tying into the 3D theme, Hasbro has released a set of 12 figures with "old school" 3D glasses (red & blue lenses) to view images on the special packaging. Several Members have reported finding this Wave at their local Big Ws for an insanely low price of $9.93 each (it is unclear if this is an error or not at this time).

The line contains 6 NEW figures (sort of) and 6 repacks. Look out for Aurra Sing, Darth Maul, Destroyer Droid, G8-R3, Gungan Warrior, Podracer MaWhonic, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Ric Olie and a Naboo Pilot (same body, different heads), a Tusken Raider and Yoda.

Keep an eye out later in the year as Mawhonic, the Naboo Pilot, Aurra Sing and the Gungan Warrior will be re-released on Vintage Cards. Also, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are available in the standard Movie Heroes line.

It is unclear whether any of the other products in the "Discover The Force" line, including Mos Espa Arena and Royal Starship Droids Battle Packs, the Dewback, Vulture Droid, and Qui-Gon's Lightsaber will find their way here.

THE CLONE WARS SEASON 4 We reported at the beginning of the yeat that ABC3 would be screening STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, from Season 1 thru to 3 and even Season 4 at the end of this year. Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Season 4 new season one hour debut, "Battle Lines", aired this weekend in the USA. After a quick call to programming this week, we unfortunately have to report that Season 4 will not beginning screening on free-to-air TV this year. We were unable to secure a firm start date, so be sure to check for news when it does arrive.

[UPDATE: The Clone Wars Season 3 will begin on ABC from 13 October. Details of Season 4 will be released in Jan 2012.]
